A drive-through wildlife sanctuary that puts you face to face with North American species, minutes from downtown Williams.
A park you never leave your car to see
Bearizona is a drive-through wildlife park where you cruise a winding road through pine forest and meadows past North American animals in large, nature-inspired habitats. Bison, bears, wolves, and big cats roam these enclosures, and the drive is designed so you control the pace: stop, look, and keep going when you are ready.
When you park, a walking fort hosts smaller residents, and a food court, shopping, and scheduled animal encounters round out the visit. It is one of the top family attractions in northern Arizona, and it operates year-round.
Plan your visit
The park sits on Route 66 east of downtown Williams, about five minutes by car from the property at 112 and 116 N. 1st St. Hours and admission vary by season, so check bearizona.com for current opening times and ticket details before you go.
Mornings tend to be the most active time for the animals, especially in summer heat. Drive-through traffic also thins out after the first wave of visitors, so an early start usually means a slower, less crowded loop.
A note from Mike
Every year, resident kids in Williams pack their birthdays at Bearizona, and it pulls the same families back every summer. From an investment perspective that repeat traffic is the story: it is a destination, not a one-time stop.
If you are visiting with guests, pair the park with lunch downtown: the drive is short enough that Bearizona and the Route 66 dining corridor work as a single morning.
